Recent spikes in oil (petrol/ diesel) and cooking gas prices led to opposition parties in INDIA called for “Bharat Bandh” across nation, the impact of which was felt across Tankaria as well. See pictures below.

Sadiyah D/O Mohmedsajid Ibrahim Larya received a medal for Spellbee International examination which is conducted by Spellbee International [language for life] organization. Tankaria’s root to India’s freedom goes long back.  We, Tankarvis, all have a story or two about how great great grandfather took part in India’s independence movement, the struggle they witnessed and sacrifices they made.
