આજકાલ ટંકારીઆ કિકેટ માટે જેટલું જાણીતું છે એટલું જ કવિઓ લેખકો માટે પણ જાણીતું છે. ગામમાં શેરોસુખનનો વારસો જાળવી રાખે એવા એક અત્યંત આશાસ્પદ કવિ તે મુબારક ઘોડીવાલા “દર્દ” ટંકારવી. સારા એવા એક સર્જનાત્મક કવિ છે અને એટલે જ તો એમને હવે આજુબાજુ યોજાતા મુશાયરાઓમાં આમંત્રણ મળે છે. અહીં સુરત ખાતે યોજાયેલા મુશાયરામાં “દર્દ” ટંકારવી પોતાની આગવી છટામાં સુંદર ગઝલો રજૂ કરતા અને ગઝલફહેમ લોકોની દાદ મેળવતા જોઇ શકાય છે. મુબારકને ખૂબ ખૂબ મુબારકબાદ અને એટલું જ કહીશું કે નવું નવું વાંચતા–લખતા રહેજો અને ટંકારીઆનું નામ રોશન કરતા રહેજો.

Another feather of success for Tankaria. One of our Tankarvi sister, Farhana Ilyas Kapadia (wife of Navid Munaf Patel), has graduated with first rank in MScIT (Master of Science in Information Technology) (CGPA- 9.76/10) at prestigious Charotar University of Science and Technology. She was awarded with Gold medal at an event presided by Dr. R Chidambaram, Padm Vibhusan & Padm Shree, former director of Indian Atomic Reseach Center.
