ટંકારીઆ તથા સમગ્ર પંથકમાં જળબમ્બાકાર
સતત બે દિવસથી વરસી રહેલા વરસાદને પગલે ટંકારીઆ અને સમગ્ર પંથક જળબમ્બાકાર થઇ જવા પામ્યું છે. સતત વરસી રહેલા વરસાદને પગલે પાલેજ તરફના ગામોમાંથી પાણી નો પ્રવાહ અવિરત ચાલુ રહેતા ટંકારીઆ ગામનું તળાવ છલોછલ થઇ જતા પાણી પાદરમાં ફરી વળ્યું છે. પરંતુ ચાલુ વર્ષે ઉસ્માન લાલન તથા તેમની ટીમે કાન્સની વ્યવસ્થિત સાફસફાઈ કરી હોવાના પગલે પાણી સતત વહેતુ રહેતું હોવાથી પાણી નો નિકાલ એકદમ ઝડપી થાય છે. અને પાદરમાં પાણી ભરાવવાના ચાન્સ એકદમ ઓછા લાગે છે. પરંતુ જો સીતપોણ ગામ તરફની ભૂખી ખાડી પાણી લેવાનું બંધ કરે તો જ પાણી પાદરમાં વધુ ભરાય તેમ છે. તો આ થકી ગામલોકો ઉસ્માન લાલનનો આભાર વ્યક્ત કરે છે. હાલમાં આ લખાય છે ત્યારે પણ વાદળો એકદમ કાળાડિબાંગ સ્થિતિમાં છે અને વરસાદ વધુ થાય તેવી શક્યતાઓ નકારી શકાય તેમ નથી.
Tankaria and the entire diocese have been inundated after two days of continuous rains. Due to the continuous rains, the water flow from the villages towards Palej has continued uninterrupted and the lake [Talav] of Tankaria village has been over flooded and the water has turned back into the padar. But this year, Usman Lalan and his team have been cleaning up the Kans in a systematic manner, so the water continues to flow faster and faster. And the chances of water filling in the padar seem slim. But only if the Bhukhi [Khadi] towards Sitpon village stops taking water can the water fill up more. So through this the villagers express their gratitude to Usman Lalan. Even at the time of writing, the clouds are in a state of blackout and the possibility of more rain cannot be ruled out.
