ચાલુ સાલે ચોમાસા દરમ્યાન સમગ્ર ભરૂચ જિલ્લાથી લઈને રાજ્યમાં થઇ રહેલા વ્યાપક મેઘવર્ષાને પગલે તેની અસર ખેતી પર થવાની દહેશત જણાય રહી છે. ટંકારીઆ તથા પંથકમાં સતત વરસી રહેલા વરસાદને પગલે ખેતરોમાં નિંદામણ નું કામ ગૂંચવાતું હોવાની લાગણી ખેડૂત વર્ગ અનુભવી રહ્યો છે. અષાઢ બાદ શરુ થયેલા સતત વરસાદ નો સિલસિલો શ્રાવણ માસમાં પણ ચાલુ રહ્યો છે. દરરોજ નાના મોટા ઝાપટા થઇ રહ્યા હોય ખેડુલ આલમ ઉઘાડની રાહ જોઈ રહ્યો છે. આમ એકધારા વરસાદને પગલે ચોમાસુ ખેતીના કેટલાક પાકોને નુકશાન પણ થઇ શકે એવી ભીતી ખેડૂતો સેવી રહ્યા છે.હજુ ચોમાસુ અડધું પણ થયું નથી પરંતુ સિઝનનો પડાવાલાયક બધો વરસાદ અત્યારે જ નોંધાઈ ગયાની માહિતી પ્રાપ્ત થઇ રહી છે. સતત વરસાદને પગલે લીલા દુકાળની પણ ભીતી જણાય છે. એકધારા વરસાદને લીધે ખેતરોમાં ખેતીકામ ગૂંચવાતા ખેડૂતોના કપાળે ચિંતાની લકીરો ખેંચાઈ જવા પામી છે. અને ખેડૂતવર્ગ ઉઘાડ નીકળે તો સારું એવી આશા રાખી બેઠા છે. [આ લખાય છે ત્યારે પણ વરસાદ વરસવાનો ચાલુ જ છે. ]

The continuous rain that started after Ashadha has continued in the month of Shravan as well. Small and big gusts are happening every day, Farmers are waiting for the opening sunny weather. Thus, the farmers are fearing that some of the crops of monsoon agriculture may be damaged due to the constant rain. The monsoon is not even half over yet, but the information is being received that all the rainfall of the season has already been recorded. Green drought is also feared due to continuous rains. Due to heavy rains, the farmers are getting confused with the agricultural work in the fields. And the peasantry is hoping that it will be good if it turns out to be bare.
