“Sufi” … You will always be remembered!

Gujarati literature lost one of its most beloved and decorated poets. “Sufi” always put a smile on audiences’ faces with his hazals. His easy to understand witty poems contrasted life back home with life as an immigrant and was very much loved by the Gujarati community. This is not only a loss for Gujarati literature, but for the whole community.

“Sufi” may not be with us any more, but his writings will always remind us of his larger than life persona.
