Today, we would like you to meet Haji Mohammed Yusuf Zangaria Munshi, a very well known and respected personality in our community in Lusaka, Zambia.

Haji Mohammed Zangaria Munshi is the son of Janaab Yusuf Zangaria Munshi, who was the principal of Tankaria Primary School. He is 85 years old, but his energy and will power is like that of a young man. He is, Alhamdulillah, an extremely successful business man. His ventures include factories called Shafiq Textiles and Chico Biscuits.

But that does not define Haji Mohammed Zangaria Munshi. What defines him is his strong will power and energy that can put a person half his age under his shadow. He takes active roles in many different community organisations and is very supportive of projects put forward for our community and our village. In fact, he helped drive our community to donate over a quarter of the contribution for Tankaria High School’s new building project and our school management credited him with a special honour.

Such a great personality, but interestingly age hasn’t beaten his will power. He still drives, goes hunting and visits the game park. Tankaria is blessed to have a son like him. Even though he is very far from his birthplace, Haji Mohammed Zangaria Munshi is very attached to his homeland and continues to give back to his community. May Allah (SWT) reward him and his family with the best of this world and in the hereafter.

It is tremendously helpful to those who are with their H1-B visa holder spouses but are unable to work even though they may have qualifications or degrees. This results in many talented spouses staying at home while their spouses are at work in the USA. The change in law will benefit many.

I am pleasantly surprised to see my Dada’s short synopsis in the MyTankaria website. Do you have any more photographs of my grandfather and are there any surviving members of his parents etc?

I would like to know more history of Tankaria and keep in touch with our community all over the world.

ફેસબુક શબ્દ મોબાઈલ વપરાશકારો માટે નવો નથી. નાના ભુલકાથી લઈ મોટેરાઓ સુધી મોટાભાગના લોકો ફેસબુકથી માહિતગાર હશે. આ ફેસબુકની માલિક છે. ઝહુરબર્ગ અને તેની મુખ્ય કચેરી કેલિફોર્નિયામાં આવેલી છે. ત્યારે થુજરાત માટે ગર્વની વાત કહી શકાય કે, પાલનપુરથી પાંચ કિ.મી. દૂર આવેલ નાનકડા ગામ કાણોદરનો યુવાન સૈફ હસન ફેસબુકની મુખ્ય કચેરી કેલિફોર્નિયામાં સોફટવેર એન્જિનિયર તરીકે ફરજ બજાવે છે અને હાલ તે પોતાની નિષ્ઠા, મહેનત અને પ્રમાણિકતાથી ફેસબુકના માલિક ઝુકરબર્ગનો માનીતો બની ગયો છે.સૈફ હસને કાણોદર ગામની શાળામાં અભ્યાસ કર્યો છે અને ત્યારબાદ તેણે મુંબઈની આઈઆઈટીમાં પ્રવેશ લીધો હતો ત્યાંથી સૈફને ફેસબુકની ઓફર મળી હતી અને તે ફેસબુકની મુખ્ય કચેરી કેલિફોર્નિયામાં સોફટવેર એન્જિનિયર તરીકે જોડાઈ ગયો હતો. છેલ્લા એકાદ વર્ષથી તે ફેસબુકમાં કામ કરે છે. સૈફના પિતા પાલનપુર ખાતે જીવન વિમા નિગમની ઓફિસમાં નોકરી કરે છે. તેઓ જણાવે છે કે, મારા પુત્ર સૈફએ જે શિક્ષણ મેળવ્યું તેનું ફળ તેને મળ્યું છે અને તે બીજા યુવાનો માટે પણ પ્રેરણારૂપ છે. સૈફે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ફેસબુક જેવી કંપનીમાં કામ કરવું એટલે એક સપના જેવું છે. હું જ્યારે આઈટીઆઈ જોડાયો ત્યારથી જ એ મારું સપનું હતું ત્યાં કામ કરવાની ખૂબ જ મજા આવે છે. કંપની કર્મચારીઓ માટે ઉત્તમ સુવિધા પૂરી પાડે છે. સૈફની માતા ખાતુનબેને વાતચીતમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે, હાલમાં જ ફેસબુકે ૧રમાં વર્ષમાં પ્રવેશ કર્યો છે. તેની વર્ષગાંઠ નિમિત્તે મારા પુત્ર અને ફેસબુકને શુભેચ્છા પાઠવી છે તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ફેસબુકના માલિક ઝુકરબર્ગ મારા પુત્ર સૈફને દિકરાની જેમ રાખે છે અને તેને ખૂબ પ્રેમ આપે છે. જેની મને ખુશી છે. તેમણે જણાવ્યું કે, કેલિફોર્નિયા ખાતે ફેસબુકની મુખ્ય કચેરીમાં મારો પુત્ર સૈફ નોકરી કરે છે તે બાબતની જાણ થતાં અન્ય યુવાનો પણ ત્યાં જોડાવા પ્રેરાયા છે અને ઉચ્ચ અભ્યાસ કરી રહ્યા છે.
