ટંકારીઆ તથા પંથકમાં ઉગાડ નીકળતા સર્વત્ર રાહત

ગુલાબ વાવાઝોડાને પગલે દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત પર સર્જાયેલ લો પ્રેસર ને કારણે સાર્વત્રિક અતિભારે વરસાદ સતત વરસ્યો હતો જેને લીધે નાળા અને તળાવો તથા ખેતરો વરસાદી પાણીથી જળબમ્બાકાર થઇ ગયા હતા અને આપણા ટંકારીઆ નું તળાવ પણ ઓવરફ્લો થતા પાદરમાં પાણી વહેતુ થઇ ગયું હતું પરંતુ ગતરોજ થી વરસાદ થંભી જતા પાણી ઓસરી જતા પાદરમાંના નીચાણવારા વિસ્તારોમાં રહેતા લોકો અને દુકાન ધરાવતા દુકાનદારોએ રાહતનો સાંસ લીધો છે. જોકે હવામાન ખાતાએ હળવો વરસાદ થવાની આગાહી કરી છે. હવામાન ખાતાએ એમ પણ જાહેરાત કરી છે કે ૬ ઓક્ટોબરથી નેઋત્યનું ચોમાસુ પાછું ખેંચાવાની સ્થિતિ સાનુકૂળ છે.

People living in the low-lying areas of Padar and shopkeepers have a sigh of relief as the water recedes. However, the meteorological department has forecast light rains.
