હાડ થીજાવતી ઠંડીથી લોકો ઠૂંઠવાયા

સમગ્ર ગુજરાત શીતલહેર ની ચપેટમાં જોવા મળી રહ્યું છે. ટંકારીઆ કસ્બો પણ તેનાથી બાકાત નથી. ગતરોજથી ફરી એક વખત ઠંડા પવનો સુસવાટા સાથે ફૂંકાવાની શરૂઆત થઇ ગઈ હોય ઠંડીનો ચમકારો જોવા મળી રહ્યો છે. હવામાનખાતાએ આગામી ૪ થી ૫ દિવસ સુધી આજ પ્રકારનો ઠંડીનો ચમકારો રહેશે એવી અથવા વધારો થશે તેવી આગાહી કરી છે. ખેડૂતોને શિયાળુ પાક પણ સારો ઉતારવાની આશા બંધાઈ છે. પ્રાપ્ત માહિતી અનુસાર હિમાલયના પર્વતી વિસ્તારોમાં ભારે હિમવર્ષા ને કારણે સમગ્ર ગુજરાત માં પણ તેની અસર જોવા મળશે જેને કારણે કડકડતી ઠંડી જોવા મળશે. સતત શીત લહેરના કારણે ટંકારીઆ કસ્બામાં લોકો ઠંડીથી રક્ષણ મેળવવાના પ્રયાસો કરી રહ્યા છે. વયોવૃદ્ધો તેમજ આધેડ ઉંમરના લોકો ઘરમાં રહી રક્ષણ મેળવી રહ્યા છે તો નવલોહિયા યુવાનો ધૂણી ધખાવી ચોતરફ કુંડાળું કરી ઠંડી થી બચવાની કોશિશ કરતા નજરે પડ્યા છે. રાત્રે લોકોની ચહલ પહલથી ધમધમતા પાદરમાં લોકોની ચહલ પહલ આછી જણાઈ રહી છે.

Due to the continuous cold wave, people in Tankaria Kasba are trying to get shelter from the cold. Elderly and middle-aged people are getting protection by staying at home, while young people are seen trying to avoid the cold by blowing fire [Dhuni] and curling up. At night, the movement of people is visible less in the bustling padar.
